Nike SB once again teamed up with Japanese designer Verdy for a Dunk Low collaboration in 2021. After first partnering with the Swoosh in 2019 to showcase the Girls Don't Cry line, Verdy's second brand, Wasted Youth, takes the spotlight here. The Nike SB Dunk Low Wasted Youth brings a rougher, more alternative look than Verdy's first collaboration. Inspired by the relationship between punk and skate culture, the upper is composed of patchwork black denim and black suede. On the inside of each shoe, the Wasted Youth rose logo is stitched alongside the Nike Swoosh, showcasing a true collaboration between the brands. The Swoosh on the side also features a DIY option, letting the wearer cut away the black stitching to reveal a white Swoosh outline beneath. Finally, the heel tab is embroidered with 'Wasted' and 'Youth' alongside a D-ring, further reflecting the design's punk inspiration. The Nike SB Dunk Low Wasted Youth released in April 2021 for $130.
